Ahhh the married life! It’s been awhile since I’ve blogged. Married life is awesome! Work is going good as well. I’ve moved from a PRN (as needed) employee to part-time employee ( I usually work about 34 hours a week), which is good for all my benefits that I can get now.
Randy and I recently got a membership to the local Y. I really need to get off my butt and go more. I have found that one of my favorite things is to play racquetball. I grew up playing tennis so it’s not too far off from my true love sport! Although 3 man racquetball is something else. We tried that with Bryan and it gets pretty confusing and dangerous, but it’s a lot of fun.
We went to a clambake last Saturday at my co-worker Lynne’s house and all I have to say is Yum! We had clams, mussels, twice baked potatoes and sweet potatoes and porterhouse steaks! Not to mention smores! They have to be one of my favorite desserts. Although on a sad note…. I had another co-worker look for some Redbach beer for us at the Bier Market in Cleveland and no luck! Apparently the beer maker Rodenbach is out of business. This breaks my heart.
I am excited about this Saturday. Randy and I are taking my Dad out for his birthday and it’s going to be spectacular! I don’t want to say where we are going yet, just in case he sees this! But it will be fun!
As for Christmas, we are talking about taking a trip to Chicago for our christmas present to each other. I’ve never been to Chicago even when I had my Navy bootcamp close to it. We would probably take it Dec 26th to the 29th. I’m sure we’ll know more later.
I will actually try to make this a more regular blog and talk about what is really on my mind. Hope all is well with everyone.
